  13. From file manager or explorer, double click setup.exe, follow the instructions after
  14. setup started.

  17. Who may use this software:

  19. Whoever wants to upload files to or download files from a remote host. You need this
  20. software. DragDrop FTP supports not only download and upload. It also supports copying
  21. files between two remote hosts as well.

  24. How easy to use this software:

  26. As long as you know how to click a mouse button and release it. You should not have 
  27. any problems to use this software. DrodDrop FTP fully implements drag and drop 
  28. capabilities to enable graphically copying files.

  31. Sequence to Create direct connection to an FTP server:
  32.  
  33. 1. Uncheck connect through a proxy check box from Internet Explorer on the Connection tab of the Options 
  34.    property sheet on the View menu.
  35.  
  36. 2. Dialup your internet provider.
  37.  
  38. 3. Start DragDrop FTP.

  41. TIS Proxy May Be Needed for Connection:
  42.  
  43. DragDrop FTP require either a direct connection to an FTP server or a connection to 
  44. an FTP server via a TIS proxy. DragDrop FTP may not work correctly with CERN FTP proxies.

  46. The DragDrop FTP uses proxy information specified in the registry. If you get messages 
  47. such as "The connection with the server was reset" indicating DragDrop FTP is unable to 
  48. connect with an Internet site, your may need to change your preconfigured registry 
  49. settings to specify a TIS proxy for FTP services. These settings are easily changed from 
  50. Internet Explorer on the Connection tab of the Options property sheet.

  53. DragDrop FTP v1.0 is currently distributed as shareware. You can redistribute
  54. this software giving that the software is distributed in whole, and provide enough 
  55. information to the end users that they have not paid for the software yet.
